Creeds of Daesoonjinrihoe (大巡眞理會 信條)
Creeds are the necessary conditions that disiciples have to follow for their cultivation.
In Daesoonjinrihoe, the category of 'Creeds' consists of 'Four Cardinal Mottos' and ' Three Exsential Attitudes(Mind Frames).' They appear as follows:
The Four Cardinal Mottos
Quieting the Mind (安心)
Restore your innate conscience which is unbiased, impartial and pure.
Preserve this state to achieve the purpose of your cultivation.
Quieting the Body (安身)
Conduct yourself in accordance with righteousness and propriety.
In other words, do not act with vanity or selfishness.
Reverence for Heaven (敬天)
Bear in mind that Sangje (the Supreme God) is always with you.
That is, serve Him with utmost repect sincerity.
Cultivation (修道)
While quieting your mind and body, focus your reverent mind on Sangje by concentration on the lower abdomen (the elixir field) through the recitation of incantations.
In other words, remember to show respect toward Sangje while maintaining thoughts consistent with reverence and sincerity.
Recite incantations with all your heart to achieve the goal of intergration with Sangje.
Three Essential Attitudes
Sincerity (誠)
Sincerity is a matter of reflecting consistently on yourself as you focus your efforts upon noble endeavors. Being sincere means maintaining a mind that is continuously concerned with detecting and correcting any insufficiencies in your exertions or dedication, as doing so will enable you to complete your task.
Respectfulness (敬)
Respectfulness is a matter of conducting yourself in a decent manner.
Faithfulness (信)
Faithfulness is a matter of making up your mind about something and then confidently moving forward without any change or deviation from your original intention. This involves committing yourself to the highest level of devotion in order to reach your anticipated end.
