Every August 1st by the lunar calendar, Daesoonjinrihoe holds an event of mowing and tyding up the lawn around the grave of the late Dojeon Park in the Toseong temple in Gangwon Province, Korea. It was on September 1st in Korean time. Lots of Daesoonjinrihoe followers participated in the event and were devoted to the work to pay their repect and sincerity. I also took part in the event and had great time.
Daesoon jinri hoe is a specific Korean ethnic religion. Therefore, all the rituals of Daesoon jinri hoe follows the Korean traditional manners. Bofore Chuseok holiday, Korean Thanksgiving day Koreans visits their ancestors' grave and cut weeds and pay their respect for their ancestors.
Do you see Hanbok people in the picture are wearing? That's Korean tradition costume. Everyone who participates in rituals of Daesoon jinri hoe should dress up in Hanbok.
