Daesoon jinri hoe rituals, Chiseong

Chiseong participants are queuing waiting for the enterance of Yeongdae on a Chiseong day.
Almost every Chiseong is held on 1am and all participants are supposed to await standing for one hour before the initiation. During the time, they pray Sangje for their wish.

Chiseong in Daesoon jinri hoe is a ritual ceremony to show your gratitue for the grace of Sangjenim, the Supreme being of Ninth Heaven and other Great Deities of Heaven and  Earth who take care of human beings. This is an important religious ceremony which awakens disciples to their reformations as clean and unselfish beings. Everyone who take part in the ceremony should pay his or her reverence and sincerity dismissing wordly thoughts and being devoted.

Chiseongs are held on the days of Sangje Kang Jeungsan and Doju Jo Jeongsan's birth and pass into Heaven and on the day when great deities were enshrined at Yeongdae and on some other commemorative occasions. Most of Chiseongs are performed in Yeoju Headquarters Temple.
