Daesoonjinrihoe Temple in Yeoju, Korea

Bonggangjeon:A Building to Receive the Highly Spiritual Energy
Bonggang means humans receiving the highly spiritual energy (氣 Chi) from heaven. This building was served as 'Bonjeon' until the construction of current one.
It is a 4-story building with a look of 3-stories outside, and enshrines Gucheonsangje, Okwangsangje and Sakyamuni as the prime godship including 28 deities (who are in charge of 28 directions in the universe), 24 deities (who are in charge of 24 divisions of a year), and other deities.
Right in front of 'Bonggangjeon' are some stone statues of a pair of candlesticks, a pair of haetae (a mythical unicorn lion), and incense burner, and in the front yard there are a fountain, a pair of stone lanterns, and another pair of haetae statues.

In the above picture, Bonggangjeon is in the right of Cheonggyetap (Tower of Truth)

Worth visiting near Daesoonjinrihoe temple complex in Yeoju, Korea

The temple complex of Daesoonjinrihoe in Yeoju, Gyeonggi Province, Korea
is noted for its gorgeous ethnic structures and the ambient beautiful scenery. Gangcheonbo Weir is about twenty minutes' walk away from Daesoonjinrihoe temple. Daesoonjinrihoe members often visit here for a walk or a diversion and it is a bikers' attraction as well. I also do like  strolling around there.
I post here some of the pictures of Gangcheonbo Weir in the splendor of the setting sun.

The above photo is showing Bonjeon, one of 14 structures in the temple complex. Yeongdae is the most sacred place enshrining object of worship of Daesoonjinrihoe , 'Gucheonsangje' as well as 14 other highest deities in the heaven and earth (referred to as 'the Great Godship of 15 Deities').
It is located on the 4th floor of the main building (Bonjeon) which was completed in December 1990.
Various ritual ceremonies and events are performed in Yeongdae.
